If you live in Austin, you know it is full of great restaurants for nearly every cuisine. This includes Italian restaurants that routinely serve spaghetti. The pasta dish is the most commonly ordered Italian meal. It is also considered a comfort food, one that is created to celebrate and a typical family meal. For those craving a giant plate of this delicious pasta dish, we believe that we have found out where to get the best spaghetti in Austin - Italic: 123 W. Sixth St., Austin, TX 78701.
All I can say is that the food is incredible! From the appetizers to the entrees..OMG is all I can say. Meal sizes are generous. The wait staff was appropriately attentive, the atmosphere a little hectic given the small size of the place and fact that people kept coming in trying to get a table...but all that melted away with the amazing food. Much higher quality than some other places we've been to in the area...you pay for it but it's worth it!
Located in downtown Austin, Italic has some of the best pasta dishes in the city. One popular menu item is the Spaghetti Carbonara for lunch. The ingredients for this dish include guanciale, egg yolk, pecorino and black pepper. If dining during dinner hours, order the spaghetti, which comes with eggplant, zucchini, walnut pesto and parmigiano.
