Mediterranean Chef Cafe: Holy Humus!

September 13, 2017

I am a food nut.  And Grandma's Humus - can't stop talking about it!

The best part about it is that the humus contains a hint of flavor to the sauce on it that was a nice addition. The owner of the establishment came over to speak with us and ask about us (we were four guys in suits on a Saturday), and to bring us a house delicacy (pickled olives and almonds). That was an unexpected and nice touch too that showed a crew hard at work to build up clientele.  Very much recommended for out-of-towners staying in Austin and looking to beat the chains.

Located in  Brentwood, it's THE place to go to get your humus on the fly.  Amazing options to go.

But when it comes to falafel, you can't find a netter place.  Hands down!

the staff is so nice and somehow, this place remains a hidden gem.   Very few people in the city knows about this place so whenever I go I feel like I'm going to a secret.

But seriously if you like falafel no other place in Austin compares. They make them fresh to order and are like little green cake gems.
