Lots of people enjoy Pad Thai but do you know what it is? Pad Thai is typical street fare across Thailand—and it's probably the #1 order at your local Thai restaurant. In fact, this popular stir-fried noodle dish is the national dish of Thailand. But what exactly is it about Pad Thai that makes it so delicious? Bold, umami flavors and a variety of textures make Pad Thai into a comforting meal that everyone can love. Let's take a closer look at this beloved Thai dish.
And in Austin, Texas there's ONE spot that provides the best Pad Thai you can find - Titaya's. Food is always fantastic! I almost always get crab rangoons (they are large and delicious). Pad Thai, pad see ewe, garlic noodles and fried rice all some of my favorites.
Long ago, when I was absorbing my first time being in Austin and this was such a great spot! I wanted something warm and delicious for dinner and I got just that at Cozy. I tried their chicken noodle soup (I hate soups but this one I couldn't get enough of), pad Thai with tofu (the tofu was cooked perfectly, most places don't season their tofu but here they did and it came out excellent, would get this dish again for sure), and their seaweed salad (I am obsessed with seaweed salads and theirs was sooo good!). The staff was great and the restaurant itself is very cute. A lot of Austin pride with all their decor. It's a very unique small place that I highly recommend!
