My husband adores a great steak. And every now and then, for business, he travels to Houston from Austin. This time, I came along. And while we were together for dinner, he desperately wanted a steak. Well, according to locals, B & B Butchers was a top recommendation. And they are right.
Keep in mind that the steaks varies from $46-$250 a person. Besides steaks, they have a salad menu, seafood, chicken, pork, and lamb that varies between $10-$78 a person. Don't let the high prices scare you, an average dish there is about $25/person though.
We ordered the Snake River Butcher's Butter, Texas Wagyu ribeye, and the prime rib. I ordered the prime rib personally and it was a perfect medium rare and super delicious. Definitely better than one of the famed Sunday Roasts I had last last month at a famous London establishment. It swam in a sea of au jus with creamy horseradish on the side. LOVED IT. I also tasted the Texas Wagyu and it was also much more delicious than I expected. I have to wonder how much better the 55 day aged version could be. I didn't taste the butcher's butter, but my hubby said it was awesome.
This restaurant is awesome if you are steak lover this is the place the service was outstanding the atmosphere was energetic everything came to the table on time and everything tasted delicious! I definitely recommend this place and I definitely come back...with or without my hubby.
