'Austin, Texas French Bread' - Yes, it exists!

September 18, 2019

No, I'm not kidding....and it's an awesome place!!!!

This was an unexpected treat for us. Although my family and I had heard of the place, we were familiar with their baked goods, but had no idea that their cuisine would be so divine. Beautiful French bread, cold cucumber soup, rabbit salad, and stuffed quail with polenta made for an incredible meal. Everything that came out of the kitchen was a delight.

Pastries are super delicious here. The bakery is well decorated - it reminded me of Walton's Fancy and Staple. As for the service, it's simply great. The bakery closes at 3pm. And the worker gave out free pastries to me and my friends after the bakery closed!!

It's honestly a great study spot as well. The place is not that loud, and the table is spacious enough for you to use.

I tried out the french toast. I thought it was too sweet for me. The omelette is super yummy though! They also serve sandwiches and salads which are perfect for lunch.

I would say this is my favorite brunch place near campus now. So I am definitely going to come back here!

The service was also outstanding. We will definitely be coming back!
