Last year, we had a BIG Christmas dinner planned - family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. And I mean BIG. We received lots of recommendations but kept hearing about one spot that you 'must' work with - V's.
I had to work on this project in August and I must admit that it took a few months before I was ready to sign the contract and make the first payment. Fortunately, they still had my date available. We had our tasting about 6 weeks before the wedding, and it went very well. My good friend, Kathryn attended it, so it was nice to have an honest second opinion. My manager, Stefanie, handled the planning, coordinating the details, and putting together the final version of the contract. V's entire team was knowledgeable and helpful, even suggesting a delicious vegetarian meal for 1 of my guests.
Food: We served the BBQ brisket and chicken. It was AMAZING. Practically everyone complimented us on how delicious the food was. I have one word for you: BARK. It was amazing: so moist and tender, with a thick, smoky char. I'm from Texas. I've had a lot of BBQ. I tried 3 other caterers' BBQ. None of them can hold a candle to this char. Just go to a tasting and try it. The sides were awesome: classic slaw, beans and creamy mac and cheese. Even the vegetarians loved their specially prepared meals.
